earn college credit in high school
Students who are in the IB Spanish/Advanced Spanish course may enroll in the CCIHS program through UW-Green Bay and earn 3 college credits while also earning high school credit. The current cost for the 3 college credits is $300. Students can also earn up to 11 retrocredits for successfully completing the course. (On the UWGB scale, if a student earns a B or above, 11 retrocredits can be awarded. For a BC or C, 5.5 retro-credits can be awarded.)

Only students enrolled in the IB Spanish/Advanced Spanish course (year 1 and/or year 2) can choose to enroll in the course for college credit through UWGB. The course that you take in high school, that is taught by Sra. Swemke at Lincoln, is the course through which you can receive dual credit. The course syllabus for the current school year is below.
* Registration for the CCIHS program is now closed for the 2019-2020 school year. If you enroll in IB Spanish/Advanced Spanish next year, you will have an opportunity to enroll in the CCIHS program in Fall 2020.
